WRENS PRESENTATION NIGHT

Dundas Sports and Recreation Club

The Wrens Presentation Night is the marque event on the social calendar.  Invite your family, friends, wives, girlfriends (and their friends) along to celebrate another great year.  Be there to see player and team awards, MVP Player of the Year.

WRENS AFTER-PARTY

Dundas Sports and Recreation Club

This is a massive celebration of the Wrens!  Immediately after the Presentation Night, the After-Party explodes with Trivia Night, music and comedy

WRENS GOLFING SAFARI

Macarthur Grange Country Club

Like Mud Brothers, this is another one of our long held traditions.  Each year, we drive out to Macarthur Grange Country Club, a links style course, to play 18 holes of golf with buggies.  Golf talent takes a back seat to rivalries, sledging and generally a great day out!  Be there!

NDCA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Pennant Hills Bowling Club

All Wren’s players and their partners are invited to attend the NDCA’s Presentation Night.  The NDCA provides free finger food and refreshments for all those attending.  Let’s all get down there and be part of the celebrations.

NDCA Competition starts

Finally some cricket!

WREN-TOBER FEST

Bavarian Beer Café, Parra

Very similar to ‘Octoberfest’ – Wren-tober fest is a celebration of German beer and food, with our resident German Steve Holland showing the way of course! It will be held in the new Bavarian Beer Café in Parramatta and is sure to be a great and possibly messy night out!

WRENS FANTASY LEAGUE

Starts Round 4 each year

I'm pleased to announce an exciting new competition - WRENS FANTASY LEAGUE.  The competition is simple - select 14 Wrens players from our 7 teams (2 players per team) who you think will score the highest aggregate 'Most Valuable Player' points over the regular season and win a massive cash prize of $150-$200!!

WRENS BAREFOOT BOWLS, BEERS, BBQ

This is another new social event.  Lots of fun to be had on a lazy Sunday arvo with music, alcohol, a lazy game of lawn bowls and food to go around.  Be part of the action.

WRENS XMAS FEAST

This is one of the great Wrens’ traditions – food and women combined into our annual Christmas celebration of cricket and the Wrens. Good fun with friends at a location that is very pleasing on the eye.

WRENS PAINTBALL SHOWDOWN

Action paintball Games Rouse Hill

Ever feel like shooting your captain or team-mates in the backside for taking you off an over too early or batting you down the order?  Who wouldn’t like to slug your skipper?  If the answer is YES, then make sure you make the cut at the Wrens Paintball Showdown!

WRENS MUD BROTHERS TOUCH FOOTY

Rydalmere Oval

Since 1988 a game of touch football has been played at Rydalmere Oval on every Easter Good Friday.  Torrential rain marked the inaugural match – hence the name.  This is an open invitation to anyone who wants to play - all Wrens and their family and friends are invited.

WRENS GO-KARTING CHALLENGE

Fastlane Go-Karting

Go-karting would have to be the most fun you can have sitting down - well almost!  It’s a big 500 metre outdoor track with electronic timing system and trophies for the winners. The best thing is no driver’s licence is required I’m sure there are plenty of scores to settle after the Wrens Paintball Day!  All junior and senior players welcome!

WRENS BOOTCAMP TRAINING
‘WORLD OF FITNESS’ Every Saturday, 10am UpJohn Park

A 90 minute “Bootcamp” training session will include shuttle runs, agility work, strength work, sit-ups, wrestling.  Wear old clothing and running shoes, bring a towel and drink, and prepare to do some “hard yards”.  It caters for people as grossly unfit as Duddy.  Junior and seniors welcome!

WRENPIN BOWLING

Strike Bar

More than just a catchy name, Wren Pin Bowling takes us back to the 1980’s where it was cool to play ten-pin bowling with your mates on the weekend!  All junior and senior Wrens and their friends welcome!
